His primary research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of the solute transport system across the membrane. He has recently published a series of impressive works on the ABC transport system and its regulation, combining biochemical and structural biology methods (Thaker et al. Nat. Chem. Biol. 2022, Khandelwal et al. Nat. Commun. 2022, etc.).
